Farming innovation award
Fertile imaginations wanted
As a leading tyre safety and innovation expert we are on a quest to find the UK's top performing agricultural innovator. We are looking for those who have discovered something fresh or ground breaking within the agricultural industry, crowning them with the Goodyear Farming Innovation Award 2008 and winning Goodyear farm tyres up to the value of £3,500†.
We have teamed together with Harper Adams University College to create the Farming Innovation Award. The award is searching for the UK's most innovative, pioneering and ground breaking farmer. "Harper Adams is one of the UK's top agricultural universities and offers a wealth of knowledge on farming practice and innovation. They will be using their expertise to help us select a winner of the Goodyear Farming Innovation Award 2008" said Andy Morris, Director of Goodyear OTR Tyres.
Practical Farm Ideas magazine has commented on the new award:
Practical Farm Ideas magazine is proud to be associated with the Goodyear Farming Innovation Award 2008.
"There's no better place to develop better methods and machines than on the tractor seat or in the milking parlour," says Mike Donavan, Editor of Practical Farm Ideas.
"Doing the job seven days a week provides a deep insight into how improvements can be made, and many farm technical breakthroughs have occurred this way."
"The generous Goodyear Award provides an incentive to all farm inventors to take their innovation a step further, and I warmly commend Goodyear for their initiative" concluded Mike.
Submit your entry for the chance to win this esteemed accreditation, impress one of the UK's top agricultural universities and stun us with innovative ideas.
