Safety Beyond Tyres
The story so far…
Goodyear joined the British Eventing team in 2006 as the official Safety and Innovation Partner.
The relationship began on a high with the introduction of the frangible fence pin, designed to break under a set weight bearing strain, so fences will give way when a horse hits them unusually high. As a result some of the most awkward falls can now be avoided.
We were also present at some of the sport's showcase occasions, providing parking and crossing stewards around the courses to help make the events safe and enjoyable for hundreds of thousands of spectators.
