British Eventing Team Training Day competition

"What an enjoyable day! My partner and I were thrilled to win the Goodyear competition where we were given a day with the British Eventing team and watched them being put through their paces at the team training session. We had a great time at the Weston Lawns Equitation Centre meeting the senior squad and seeing what goes on behind the scenes.

"As part of the prize we were put up at the beautiful Nailcote Hall Hotel near Coventry, where we had a fantastic meal and overnight stay.

"On the day we saw all the big names in the equestrian world, including Zara Phillips and Jeanette Brakewell. We are both experienced riders, so it was interesting to see what kind of training is involved at that level."
