Why Goodyear and the Lifeboats?
The RNLI charity provides a 24 hour life saving service around the UK and Republic of Ireland. Every day, its volunteer life-saving crews give up their time and risk their lives to carry out rescues in difficult and often dangerous conditions.
There are many similarities between Goodyear and the RNLI - not least the fact that both organisations are 100% committed to providing peace of mind and protection in hazardous situations.
While we use our expertise in innovation to produce new tyres that give drivers unique levels of control and safety on wet surfaces, the RNLI are continually introducing new training techniques and equipment to save the lives of people endangered by water.
We've now joined forces to throw our weight behind the RNLI's 'Train one, save many' campaign to provide the best possible training for volunteer crews.
